Coarse, tightly curled beard hair—especially underneath the chin—can become even more brittle from cleansing, friction and repeated grooming. SAY YES™ Beard Defense is a concentrated, oil-based treatment created to protect vulnerable beard hair before it encounters water and cleanser.

This is not an ordinary beard oil, and it is not another unnecessary step. Beard Defense cushions the hair before washing, helping reduce friction, tangling and wash-related breakage while conditioning the often-neglected skin beneath the beard.

The result is a beard that feels softer, more flexible and easier to manage before you even reach the finishing serum.

The Defense System

Coconut Oil penetrates the hair fiber and helps protect against wash-related protein loss.

Jamaican Black Castor Oil creates a substantial protective coating that cushions brittle strands and reduces friction.

Jojoba Oil distributes the treatment through dense beard hair while conditioning both the beard and underlying skin.

Oat Kernel Oil supplies skin-conditioning lipids that help support dry under-beard skin.

Natural Alpha-Bisabolol helps comfort and calm dry, sensitive-feeling skin.

How to Use

Before washing, apply a small amount to a dry beard. Begin underneath the chin and massage the treatment into the skin beneath the beard. Work the remaining product through the beard from roots to ends.

Use enough to lightly coat the beard without saturating it.

Allow Beard Defense to remain on the beard for approximately 30 minutes. Follow with SAY YES Beard Wash, rinse-out Beard Conditioner and Beard + Skin Softening Serum.

Use one to two times weekly. If you wash your beard only once or twice per week, Beard Defense may be used before each wash.

Beard Defense contains no added fragrance, making it suitable for prolonged contact with facial skin and preventing it from competing with your chosen SAY YES fragrance in the wash, conditioner and finishing serum.

Because Beard Defense contains natural coconut oil, the product may become cloudy or slightly thicker in cooler temperatures. This is normal. Warm the closed bottle between your hands and shake gently before use.
